Jonas vom Orde

Jonas is a passionate multi-instrumentalist from Hamburg with a great love for taiko and co-founder of the TAIKO BASTARDS: a German-Belgian taiko group of four players with incredible energy. In addition to other (inter)national projects, he was also one of the initiators of the Taiko Expo in Hamburg in 2022.

Not only is Jonas a passionate performer, but he is also a creative and inventive teacher in the field of taiko. His workshops are always mind-expanding, packed with humor, and inspire the participants.

Jonas will be offering an exclusive workshop to our ensemble 1 on November 30 entitled 'Something for Nothing'.

However, experienced players who are not part of the ensemble can register for this morning workshop taking place between 09:30 to 12:00.

Spaces are very limited, so be sure to sign up quickly.

Jonas will also be offering an exclusive workshop to our ensemble 2 on November 30th on improvisation.

However, experienced players who are not part of the ensemble can also register for this afternoon workshop taking place from 12:30 to 15:00.

Roundtable on the Topic of Composition in Taiko

In addition, from 15.30 until 16.30 people who are interested in composing taiko music are welcome to come to the dojo for an open discussion about the topic together with Jonas. This is free of charge!
